Aqiqah Sacrifice
Give thanks for your newborn with an aqiqah sacrifice — simply and reliably.
Thanks for a new blessing
Aqiqah (akika) is a sacrifice offered in gratitude to Allah when a child is born. Choose your animal with Bi'Adak; once we have your proxy, the slaughter is carried out according to Islamic rules and hygiene standards.
You can have the meat sent to your home or a relative's address to share with family, or donate all of it to people in need through the soup kitchen.

Aqiqah Sacrifice: frequently asked questions
When is aqiqah performed?
Aqiqah is usually performed after the birth, preferably in the first days, but there is no harm in doing it later.
Can the family eat the aqiqah meat?
Yes. Unlike a vow sacrifice, family members may eat from the aqiqah meat; sharing part of it with people in need is commendable.
Which animals can be used for aqiqah?
Any small or large animal eligible for sacrifice may be used. The age and health conditions are the same as for other sacrifices.
Do you slaughter without a proxy (vekalet)?
No. After your order request, our slaughterhouse staff call you (voice or video) to take your proxy; the slaughter is only carried out once you have given your approval.
For detailed religious guidance we recommend consulting the Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı).
